چکیده

The article is devoted to the issue of improving coordinate registration information in means automated non-destructive testing. Existing systems non-contact spatial position sensors testing are mostly focused on use signal fields different physical nature, for example, acoustic or optical, which created around these and amplitude methods processing. These do not provide necessary accuracy determining coordinates case using small-aperture testing.

A scalarization-based method for multiple part-type scheduling of two-machine robotic systems with non-destructive testing technologies

This paper analyzes the performance of a robotic system with two machines in which machines are configured in a circular layout and produce non-identical parts repetitively. The non-destructive testing (NDT) is performed by a stationary robotic arm located in the center of the circle, or a cluster tool. The robotic arm integrates multiple tasks, mainly the NDT of the part and its transition bet...

Comparison between Ultrasonic and Pulse - Radar Non - Destructive Testing Systems

-This paper describes comparison between our developed two Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) system with ultrasonic method and pulse-radar method. These systems could provide information of embedded objects in concrete structure. First, we introduce these NDT systems. The raw output images of these methods keep us from understanding them. To overcome this problem, we apply fuzzy logic into them. Ne...

Measurement and Modelling of the Rubber Resilience based on Ultrasonic Non-destructive Testing in Tires

In tire industry, it is very crucial to evaluate physical and mechanical properties of the rubber which is used for production of the tire, to ensure the quality of the final product. Resilience is an important property of a rubber, which cannot be evaluated through direct measurement in production cycle in this industry. Therefore, non-destructive ultrasonic testing, which has been used in man...

a novel ultrasonic non-destructive testing method using system identification techniques

one of the challenges in non-destructive testing schemes using the ultrasound pulse-echo technique is to identify those defects whose sizes are less than or equal to the detection resolution that is dependent on the width of the ultrasound pulse. existing methods also require a reference specimen of the same defective material, which may not be available in some cases. we present a new method f...

Phased array ultrasonic imaging using an improved beamforming based total focusing method for non destructive test

One of the novel ultrasonic phased array based scanning methods for ultrasonic imaging in non-destructive test is total focusing method (TFM). This method employs maximum available information of the phased array elements and leads to an improved defect detection accuracy compared to conventional scanning methods. Despite its high detection accuracy, TFM behaves weak in distinguishing the real ...
